BioQuest Academy

BioQuest Academy is a 60-hour, science job shadow program for high school juniors that is generously supported by the Byron and Alice Lockwood Foundation, the Foster Foundation and BioQuest donors. We are no longer accepting applications for 2013 sessions. Students graduating in 2015 should check out this page in 10 months for 2014 application opportunities.

Since 2005 the BioQuest Academy has ignited the passion and innovation of 272 high school students. Over 98% of our graduates go on to attend college, with 75% completing college in STEM majors to date. Through the Seattle BioMed training pipeline, nearly 50 of our students have gone on to work at the Institute in global health! Please visit the Academy website here.
